What was the highlight of Golden Odyssey Hotel
Family Holiday October 2019
The slides were fun. Some nice cocktails included with the all inclusive in the evening however all inclusive finishes early at 11pm. The staff always had a smile on their face and made you feel welcome.
There wasnt much variety of food, poor selection for children. Most nights the food was luke warm at best. The town local to the hotel was mostly closed even though the season doesnt end until 20th October. Also most of Rhodes Town was closed. We had mosquitos in our room on the first night, i was told by reception they dont have anything for the mosquitos that i should buy spray or plug ins from the hotel shop. The lifeguards were pretty much non existent, they would come in the morning and not sit by the pool they would be on their phones not knowing what was going on. Never have i known an all inclusive venue to be so restricted on drinks & snacks during the day, you could only have lager, wine, soft drink or tea & coffee. Snacks consisted of pizza made by animation team, rubbish sausage rolls with barely any meat in, coisants.

There was a good choice for breakfast, it was nicely cooked and well sufficient for a start to the day.
The food choices were quite repetitive, not much difference in choice from day to day. The food however was well cooked and tasty.

Slides were a real hit. Room was very clean every day. Air con excellent.

The food was disgusting same things everyday for a 4* hotel wasnt a childrens section wasnt any burgers hot dogs etc at poolside bar and no cocktails allowed till after 5pm not enough entertainment for kids
